Alright. So this isn't a story, in case you haven't noticed. But I'm extremely excited and nervous about something and I need to tell people. So here we go, internet, listen up. There's a guy I like, no names shall be mentioned. He's really cute. I want to tell him I like him, but I like him so much that I don't wanna mess anything up, even though there's like nothing there. So I was talking to my friend and she said she would tell him for me if I wanted her to. And I thought about it for awhile..... and decided to let her tell him. So she's going to tell him for me Monday morning, which is technically tomorrow since its like twelve in the morning/night/midnight/whatever, on the bus on the way to school. But I'm also really nervous, because I have english class with him first period. And what if he says something? My friend told me he's really nice and he wouldn't call me out in front of everybody, and I really hope she's right. Even though it's highly unlikely that he'll like me back, I'm still really excited and really, really nervous to see what he says. But now, I can't stop thinking about him, and I've been listening to Sparks Fly by Taylor Swift and a whole bunch of other romantical songs (but mainly that one) over and over again for the past hour or so. So you get how I'm feeling right now. Just wait till I hear his response. It'll be a frickin waterfall of emotion.

Mistakes: 4
*this one's kinda sucky, I think. I'm having extreme writer's block lately, and I've been working on another story too, so, yeah.*
"Are you sure you still want me to go to the party?" I pout and look at Justin.
"Yes, I want you to go to the party. Besides, I'm probably gonna hang out with Chaz and Ryan tonight. I haven't seen them in awhile too."
"But you get to take them on tour with you. And you never bring me," I point out.
"I'll bring you sometime, I promise."
"You make a lot of promises these days."
"Nicolette, don't start this." Justin looks at me, almost pleadingly. I don't want to fight; it just slipped out.
"Sorry. I just..."
"I know. But you're still going to that party." He grins.
"Fine, I'll go! Whatever!" I sigh, and Justin laughs.
"Atta girl." He kisses me on the cheek, then stands. "I gotta go. But I'll see you tonight, okay?"
"You'll see me tonight?"
"I'm staying here."
"But my mom's out of town."
"I know." He winks, and I catch my breath a little.
"Okay!" Smiling, I stand and folow him out of the room. At the front door, I kiss him, and what was meant to be a good-bye kiss turns out to be a long, lingering kiss, and I have to pull away. "Justin, you just said you had to go."
"I can be a little bit late," he murmurs, trying to pull me back into another kiss.
"No, Justin, no. Wait till later. Not now."
"So, later? As in later today, or another day?"
"Maybe today, maybe tomorrow, maybe the day after that."
"Aww, c'mon Nikki!"
I smile. "You'll see." And with that, I push him out the door.
"Oh my gosh, this party is crazy!" Hayden screams over the loud music. If I Had You by Adam Lambert is playing.
"I know!" I shout back. I take another sip of my drink. This is probably the craziest party in ten years. Well, besides Gary Fincher's party four years ago. No one will ever forget that party.
Hadley stumbles over to us. "You guys, I love this party! The drinks are so much better this year!"
I nod. "I know! I heard Tanner hired baristas from a club in New Jersey where Pauly D dj's!"
Hayden shrieks with joy at this. "We're drinking the same drinks as Pauly D!" She loves Pauly D.
We all laugh. Just then, Alex strolls up with Tanner and Garret. Tanner puts his arm around Hayden's shoulders and whispers something in her ear, and they leave. Garret grabs Hadley's hand and leads her away again. Then Alex sidles up to me and puts his arm around my waist, pulling me close to him.
"Hey, sexy," he says in my ear.
"Hey Alex!" I'm a little bit uncomfortable, but I try not to show it.
"You want something to drink?"
I hold up my drink to tell him I already have something. He smiles, then knocks the cup out of my hand, and the remainder of my drink spills all over the carpet. I gasp and jump back so it doesn't completely ruin my shoes. "Alex! What was that?!"
He smiles innocently. "I'll go get you another drink. Wait here." He leaves, and being the super nice person I am, I wait.
He returns a couple minutes later, holding a new drink in his hand. "Here ya go!"
I take it and take a sip. It tastes a little funny, but I ignore it, figuring it's just a different drink than what I normally drink. "What is this?"
"Vodka Red Bull! It's great!"
I smile and take another sip. It is kinda good, I guess. But all this music is starting to hurt my head. "This music is way too loud!"
"Oh yeah? Let's go somewhere quieter!" Alex grabs my hand and pulls me across the room and starts to go upstairs. I'm pretty sure this is a really bad idea, but I need to get away from this chaos.
He leads me down the dark hallway and opens a door. He lets me go inside first, the closes the door behind him. I slump against the wall, holding my head. My head is throbbing now; it hurts like hell. "Oh my God," I mumble. "Do you have any asprin?"
He shakes his head. "No, sorry. But at least it's a lot quiter in here, right?"
I nod a little. "Yeah, I guess." I take another sip of my drink, hoping it will ease the pain a little. It helps a little, and I smile a bit, then take another big gulp.
Alex laughs. "Good drink, I'm guessing?"
"What? Oh, yeah. It helps the headache."
"Maybe it would help if you didn't sit on the floor." He helps me up and I sit down on the bed. Then I lay back, sighing. My head still hurts a little. "You alright?" Alex sits next to me, and his voice has a little concern in it, but not much.
"I guess. My head feels a little bit better." Then I notice the way Alex is looking at me, and I realize that I need to get out of here right now. I sit up, and even though it hurts my head more, I stand. "I should probably get back to the party..."
"What's the rush? Why not stay up here and have our own party?" He gets up and moves close to me, backing me against the wall.
"Alex, I can't. I have a boyfriend."
"I can change that." He tries to kiss me, but I move my head to the side.
"My friends are downstairs-"
"Your friends are busy."
"But-"
I'm cut off when Alex covers my mouth with his. Surprised, I start to kiss back, just by instinct. Then I realize what I'm doing and push him away from me.
"Alex, stop."
"Why?" He slides his hand into my back pocket. The room behind him starts spinning.
"Stop!" I push him hard and he stumbles back a little. I take that as my opportunity and hurry away from him.
"Nicolette!" He grabs my arm, pulling me back towards him.
"Stop it!" I yank my arm away from him and run out of the room. My vision is really blurry, though. I hurry downstairs and run across the room. I spot Hayden stepping outside, Tanner-less. I rush over in the same direction.
"Hayden!" I stumble outside. Heels were most definately not made for running away from potential rapists. "Hayden!" I look around and see her leaning against the side of the house, sipping her drink.
She looks up at me. "Oh, there you are, Nikki! I was starting to get worried." She smiles at me. "Is Alex a good kisser?"
"What?"
"Your lipstick is smeared a little. You kissed him. Was it good?"
I quickly wipe my mouth with the back of my hand. "That's not important. Just get me out of here."
"Why do-"
"Just take me home!"
She shakes her head. "I can't drive. I've been drinking too much. Sorry. Ask Hadley."
I choke back tears and run back into the house. I look all over for Hadley, and finally see her heading towards the front door. "HADLEY!"
She spins around, searching for whoever called her name. I run to her.
"Hadley, take me home!"
I see concern in her eyes. "What's wrong?"
I shake my head. "I'll explain later, just take me home now. Hayden can't; she's drunk."
Hadley hesitates. "God, I'm real sorry, Nikki. I'm a little buzzed too." She giggles.
"Ugh!" I run my hands through my hair. What do I do if Alex comes up to me? What if he tries to do something? He probably will. He almost did.
"Why don't you just call Justin? He's only like ten minutes away with Chaz and Ryan, right?"
I snap my fingers. "You're right! I'll call him." I walk outside and stomp through the yard. I quickly dial Justin's number and hit the call button.
"Hello?" answers Justin. I can hear Chaz and some girl talking in the background.
"Justin? Can you come pick me up?"
"What's wrong? Where are you?"
I can't tell him about Alex. "I don't feel good. I'm at Tanner's party."
"Alright. I'm getting in the car now." I hear the car door close. "I'll be there soon, okay?"
"Okay." I hang up and stand on the curb waiting for him. I feel someone watching me, though, and when I turn around, I see Alex staring at me from the guest bedroom window. It creeps me out, and I cross my arms tighter, clutching my phone tight in case I need to call anybody. When I turn back around about a minute later, Alex is gone.
Five minutes later, Justin pulls up. He jumps out of the car and hurries to my side. "Nikki, are you okay?"
I nod. "Yeah. I just want to go home, or maybe I could go with you back to wherever you were with the guys. They like me."
"Yeah, they do. Alright, let's go."
We get in the car and Justin drives off. I take a deep breath; I'm away from Alex. Hopefully I won't have any more troubles with him.
Justin decides to just take me home since my head hurts. I walk inside and slump down on the couch, and my phone vibrates. I glance down at it; I have a new text message. It's from Alex.
"Oh, no," I whisper.
"Hey babe. Looking forward to next time. Maybe we can make it a little more interesting ;)."
I feel light-headed. My head starts to hurt again, and the room starts spinning. It's like I'm on the Tilt-A-Whirl. I feel sick. It feels like my head is going to explode. Thn my stomach lurches, and I jump off the couch, run to the bathroom, and throw up.
"Are you sure you still want me to go to the party?" I pout and look at Justin.
"Yes, I want you to go to the party. Besides, I'm probably gonna hang out with Chaz and Ryan tonight. I haven't seen them in awhile too."

Mistakes: 3
"Ohmygosh! You look adorable!" Hayden screeches and throws her arms around me, and I stumble backwards.
"Stop it! You'll mess up my hair!" I shove her away. "Why must you always hug me?"
"I'm a hugger." She rolls her eyes and smiles. "So when are we leaving?"
"Soon. We gotta wait for Hadley to get ready."
"Right. God, she is so slow! I can't believe I'm related to her."
"Really? I can." I laugh and pick up my phone. No calls from Justin. This is so hard. I try to keep it all inside so I don't bring everybody down, but I can't handle it. I need to talk to somebody, but I don't know if I can talk to my friends about it. They won't understand. Hayden's been going out with Tanner for six months. And Hadley always meets guys at soccer camp, and now she's going out with a gorgeous brown-haired blue-eyed senior named Garret who's on the varsity soccer team, the perfect match for her.
Maybe I should call Justin. I think I'm going to. I look up, and see Hayden flipping through my new Seventeen magazine. I dial and press the phone to my ear. It rings...and rings...and rings...and he finally picks up. "Hello? You've reached The Biebs."
"Hello Mr. Biebs, may I speak to my boyfriend?"
"It depends. What does The Biebs get if he lets you?"
"If he's lucky, he gets punched in the nose."
"Ouch. Sounds painful. How bout a kiss instead?"
"Whatever, Justin. You're an idiot, ya know that?"
"I know. But I'm your idiot." He laughs.
"Justin... We need to talk." I don't want to say it, but I do. I give Hayden a look, and she leaves the room.
He stops laughing. "What do you mean, 'We need to talk'?"
"I mean...we need to talk about us."
"Nikki...I know I'm gone a lot...but..."
"I know it's your job. And I know it's your dream. But I need you! I need you to call me when you say you're going to, not two weeks later. I need to see you other than on posters and interveiws and magazines." I can't start crying. I can't. But I feel the lump in my throat beginning to form, and I beg the tears not to fall. "I need you here."
"I'm trying. I really am. But I'm so busy. This week, I had four concerts, two interveiws, a meet and greet, I was on vocal rest for two days-"
"You can at least text me when you're on vocal rest! I just need to talk to you sometime! I don't want to find out what you're doing my checking your twitter or seeing a special on E! like I have been!"
"Nicolette!"
"Justin! I don't think I can do this anymore!" I can't stop it; the tears are streaming down my cheeks, and I don't even bother to wipe them away. "I'm sorry."
"Nicolette..." I can hear the sadness in his voice. "Nicolette I'm sorry. I wish I could be with you. But we both knew this would be hard. And I know its harder than you thought it would be. But I can't do anything about it! And I need you! I need you, it kills me every day not to be with you, to touch you, kiss you! I hate this just as much as you do! But neither of us have any control over it. I'm so, so, so sorry. Please, don't do this though."
"I'm sorry, Justin. I really am. I don't want this to be the only solution, but I can't take it. I just can't." I wipe away some tears, but it doesn't make a difference.
"I understand. But please, before you're absolutely sure, look outside."
"What? Look out-"
"Just do it."
I walk to my window, pull back the curtain, and look out into my backyard. I gasp. "Justin..."
"Hi Nikki." He waves to me, and I weakly wave back. Then, I drop my phone, not bothering to hang up, and run as fast as I can out of my room, downstairs, through the kitchen, and out the back door.
"Justin!" I run to him and leap into his arms. He hugs me, picking me up and twirling me around. "Justin! I missed you so much!"
"I missed you too." He sets me down and pushes my hair out of my face. "Why are you crying?"
"Because of you! First, you make me break up with you, then you do this crazy, nice, unexpected, totally sweet thing. What's your problem?" I laugh. "Oh my God, Justin. I love you so much!" I hug him again. "I can't believe you're here," I mutter into his neck.
"Me either. Don't ever scare me like that again, though, okay? Don't ever make me think you're breaking up with me. That was horrible. I thought I came all this way for nothing." He leans toward me more. "I would've tried to get you back though."
"I know you would've. But how can you be here? What about the tour?"
"I paused it." He shrugs his shoulders.
"You paused it? You paused it." I laugh, and wrap my arms around his neck, pulling him really close to me. "You're too good to be true."
"Well, believe it." He closes the gap between us and kisses me.
I want it to last forever.

Mistakes: 2
"Nicole!"
I keep walking. I hate when people call me Nicole. My name is Nicolette, people, is that really so hard? Nicolette, or Nikki. But not Nicole.
"Nicolette!"
Now I stop and turn. Crud. It's Alex. I shouldn't talk to him, I really shouldn't, but I'm not rude enough to just ignore him. "Oh, hi Alex."
"Hey! I was wondering something."
"Yeah?"
"You're good at algebra, right?" He smiles. If I wasn't with Justin, I would've melted at that smile. I used to, but then I met Justin, and yeah.
"Uh, sure, I guess I'm good at algebra." I flip a lock of hair that's tickling my chin over my shoulder.
"Well, do you wanna come over and study with me? I need some help with this chapter, and I need a good grade on this next test."
Oh, no. There's no way I'm going over to his house. Hillary Clayton went over to his house to study last year, and he studied, alright. Hillary has a seven month old son now. "Uhm, I don't think so." I turn back around and walk towards my locker.
"Wait!" Alex calls after me.
I turn around again. "Look, Alex. I really have to go. I have stuff to do and I need to get home. I'll see you later, okay?" I turn back around and go to my locker, and I don't hear him call after me again. When I turn back to see if he's still there, I see him flirting with Kari Mitchell, a peppy blonde freshmen. Wow. He's really lowering his standards.
I shove my books in my bag and slam my locker. It's been a great day so far, but I'm really nervous about the party. I just don't think its a good idea to go. I'm about to call Justin to talk to him about it when someone rams into me from the side, and I fall, my books spilling out of my bag and everything going all over the place. "Ouch! Hey, what's your problem?" I sit up and rub my side. I hit the ground hard.
The kid's face is bright red. "Uhm, I'm really sorry! My friends pushed me into you, I'm sorry!" He starts helping pick up my books.
I look him over. Light brown, maybe dark blonde shortish hair, blue eyes, average height. His arms look kind of musclely, not like he works out all the time, but like he sometimes works out, when he feels like it. He probably plays football. He's wearing white basketball shorts and a dark orange sweatshirt with the sleeves pushed up to his elbows. He stands up, and sticks his hand out to help me up. "Thanks," I say, brushing some dirt off my jeans.
"Again, I'm really sorry."
"It's fine. What's your name?"
He swallows. "Ethan."
"Nice to meet you, Ethan. I'm Nicolette. You a junior?"
"No, sophemore. I just moved here this year though."
"I see. And you said your friends pushed you into me?" I push my bangs out of my face and put one hand on my hip.
"Uh, yeah." He scratches his head, and blushes a little bit.
"Why?"
He hesitates. "Well, they were teasing me."
"What were they teasing you about?"
"Liking you." He blushes even more.
"They were teasing you because you like me? And they pushed you into me?"
"Yeah. I was looking at you, and not paying attention, so they shoved me into you."
"Hmm." He must really like me, just answering every question I asked like that. Although, I am a natural leader and tend to take charge and mean business, so people normally answer my questions. "Where are your friends?"
"Over there." He points to a group of guys over by some lockers. They're snickering. I recognize some of them, but I don't know they're names.
"Would it embarrass you if I went over there and had a little chat with them?"
"Not if you make it so they don't make fun of me anymore."
"Deal." I walk over to the boys, and they stop laughing as I approach. "Excuse me. Did you push him into me?" I gesture to Ethan. They don't answer. "I asked you a question. Are you going to answer me or not?"
One of them, a gangly red-head, clears his throat. "Uh, yeah, we pushed him."
"I thought so. Now, if you ever tease Ethan about liking me again, I will hurt you. Don't wonder how, just believe it."
They all look at each other. One raises his hand a little, and I nod to him. "We were just playin around," he says.
"I know. And you're not gonna play around like that anymore, got it? I coud have seriously gotten hurt. You don't want me to get hurt, do you?" They all shake their heads. "Mhm. Now don't let me hear that you tease Ethan at all anymore." I turn and walk back to Ethan. "I'll see you around." I kiss him on the cheek and smile at him, then walk away, heading towards my car. That made my day a whole lot better.
"That's what you're wearing?" Hadley raises her eyebrows.
"Yeah, why?" Hayden cocks her head to the side. "Is there something wrong with it?"
"Well, I was gonna wear that."
"Oh, shut up! You were not going to wear this! You're just saying that because I'm going to wear it!"
"That's so not true! I was about to pick it out!"
"Whatever!"
"Whatever!"
They both plop down on my bed with their backs to each other. I laugh. This happens almost on a daily basis. "You guys are hilarious."
Hadley looks up at me. "You think this is funny? Well, you're wrong. But whatever. What are you wearing to the party?"
"It's a surprise." I wiggle my eyebrows and sit down on the floor. "It's real cute though."
"Of course it is. You always look cute." Hadley rolls her eyes. "Shouldn't Hay have said something by now?" We both look down at Hayden, whose fallen asleep. Typical Hayden.
"Hey Hadley?"
"Yeah?"
"You know Alex?"
"Asstastic Alex?" Alex earned himself that nickname after he slept with twelve girls freshmen year.
"That's the one. Well, he's flirting with me."
"Oh dear."
"What if he tries to do something? Justin's not here..."
"He won't do anything, probably. And if he does, I'll beat him up, kay?" She smiles, but I know she's serious.
"Alright."
"Now c'mon. Let's go get some low-fat frozen yogurt."
Laying in my bed that night, I can't help but think about Justin. He's so good to me. When he visits, he brings me flowers, takes me out to dinner, and we lay out under the stars. He brings me presents from places he visits, and he says he's going to take me on tour with him sometime. He's everything I could ever want.
But he's always gone, always busy. I don't want to be selfish and clingy, but I miss him, and I want him to call me when he says he will, not a week later. I don't know if I can take it anymore.
I can't picture myself without Justin, though. We've been together for over two years. I need him.
I start to cry, even though I'm not sure why. I'm not sure of anything anymore.
Gradually, I cry myself to sleep.

Mistakes: 1
"Nicolette, please come to the party with us!" Hadley looks up at me with pleading eyes.
"Yeah, Nikki, please come with us!" Hayden copies he sister's expression.
I sigh. That's Hadley and Hayden Redman for you. Twin sisters, but they barely look alike. Hayden has shoulder-length darkish brown hair and green eyes; Hadley has long red-brown hair and gray eyes. But I swear, sometimes its like they share brain. They're crazy and fun and weird in a good way, and they're my best friends. "I don't know."
"Pleeeaasee?" they whine in unison.
"I'll think about it!" I roll my eyes. I really don't want to go to Tanner's party, but they obviously do. Nothing good ever happens at Tanner's parties, though. Last time, cops showed up, and seven kids got arrested. The time before that, some boy from another school got in a bad fioght with one of our football players. And the time before that, the backyard caught on fire. It's not good stuff.
"Well think fast, cause the party's this weekend." Hadley wanders over to my closet and starts going through it. She pulls out a yellow top. "Ooh! I love this! Can I wear this to the party?"
"No!" I snatch the shirt away from her. "Wear your own clothes."
"Poo." She plops down on my bed and picks up a magazine.
Hayden's phone rings, and a Justin Bieber song starts playing. I glare at her. "Really Hayden? That's your ringtone?"
She looks at me with big innocent eyes. "What?"
"That's Justin."
"And your point is...?"
"It's weird. Change it. Please."
"Fine." She messes with her phone, and a Ke$ha song begins to play. "That better?"
"Much." I plop down into my green moon chair and check my phone for messages. "You guys, he still hasn't called." I look up at them, with a slightly worried expression on my face.
Hadley sits up. "Well, maybe he's just busy. Maybe he's been rehearsing all day. Or maybe he's on vocal rest."
"If he's on vocal rest, he can still text me."
"He's probably just hanging out with Sean Kingston, or Usher, or Drake." Hayden sighs. "I love Drake."
"Yeah, we know." I roll my eyes, and check my phone again. "Why hasn't he called yet? I haven't talked to him in over a week! He was supposed to call me three days ago!"
"Calm down, Nikki. He's probabaly just busy. He's got concerts out the wazoo." Hayden pats me on the shoulder. "Remember honey, he told you it was going to be hard."
I sigh. "I know, it's just... harder than I thought it would be. I thought hard would be not texting each other for a day. Not going months without seeing him, days without talking to him, and only being able to see his face in pictures. Do you know how much it hurts to see posters of him everywhere I go? It's horrible! I hate it!" I bury my face in a pillow and will the tears not to fall.
"I'm sorry, hun." Hadley sighs. "We hate to see you like this, we really do."
"But you know what will make you feel better?" Hayden says in a chipper voice. "Going to a party."
"Nic-oh-let!" Alex Stein strolls down the hallway, and leans against my locker before I can get to it. He smiles at me, but it's not a friendly smile. "How are ya? You look great." He looks me up and down. Ugh.
"Nice to see you too, Alex." I push him aside and open my locker. I can feel his eyes on me.
"So I heard you and Justina Beaver broke up." He laughs, thinking he's so smart. Like I haven't heard that one before.
I shut my locker. "Sorry, but we're still together." I smile as sweetly as I can.
"Aw, darn. I was hoping maybe you and I could get together sometime." He smiles a sneaky side smile that makes me a little uncomfortable.
"Sorry. Well, I need to get to class. I'll see you later." I walk past him towards my fifth-period class.
"Wait! Nicolette!" Alex calls after me. "Are you going to Tanner's party?"
"Not planning on it." I call back, and when I turn back, he looks dissapointed. I laugh to myslef and go to math class. Right as I sit down, my phone rings. I hurry to the girls bathroom and answer it. "Hello?"
"Hey."
"Justin!" I don't bother trying to hide my excitement.
"Nicolette!" He copies my tone, mocing me.
"I'm so happy you called! I was starting to worry!"
"Don't worry about me, baby. I'm just fine. How are you?"
"I'm good, better now. Hayden and Hadley are trying to get me to go to Tanner Carter's party though."
"And are you? Going, I mean?"
"Not sure. Considering what normally happens at his parties, I'm thinking no."
"You should go." He sounds very sure of himself. "You'll have fun."
"Are you sure? I just don't have a good feeling about it. Especially since Alex-" I stop myself. I shouldn't have said it. Shouldn't have even started ti say it. Justin's gonna be jealous.
"Especially since Alex what?"
"Uhm, it's really nothing..."
"Tell me."
"Justin-"
"Tell. Me. Now."
I sigh. "He's been flirting with me, a lot, all the time. It's not a big deal, he's just doing what he normally does. It's just flirting. Don't freak-"
"He's flirting with you?! When he knows we're together?! Has he tried anything? Nikki, if he tried anything..." He's seething, I can tell.
"Justin, calm down. He hasn't tried anything. And he won't. Don't worry."
"I swear, if he lays one finger on you-"
"JUSTIN."
"What?!" He doesn't mean to snap at me, but he does, and I'm quiet. I hate when he gets mad at me. He realizes his tone. "Nikki, I'm sorry. He just makes me so mad. The way he treats girls, thinking he can get away with it. Well he can't. Someone's gotta teach him a lesson."
"Now Justin, just because you're mad at somebody, it doesn't mean you can threaten them."
"I'm only gonna kill him a little bit."
I laugh. "Seriously, Justin. You have to calm down. It's not a big deal."
"It's not a big deal, huh? How many girls has he gotten pregnant in the last two months?"
I can't bring myself to answer. He won't be happy. It'll just make him more mad.
"Nikki! How many girls?"
I sigh. "Five."
"Exactly. I don't want him anywhere near you. If he flirts with you any more at all, he's a dead man."
"Justin please calm down, you're making this bigger than it is."
"Well I just- Oh, crap. Hey, I'm sorry, I gotta go. Soundcheck. I'm gonna sneak up behind them. One of the funnest things ever, watching them freak out."
"Alright. I'll talk to you later?"
"Definately." I can hear a few girls screaming in the background. He's been seen. "I love you."
"I love you too. Bye."
"By-" I hear a click. He hung up. Of course.
A tear rolls down my cheek, and I quickly wipe it away and go back to class.
"Yay!" Hayden throws her arms around me in joy. "I'm so happy you decided to come!"
"Yeah, yeah, now let go of me." Laughing, I push her away from me, and she falls down.
"Ow." She stands back up and rubs her butt. "That hurt!"
I laugh again. Hayden and I at the mall, looking for outfits for the party this weekend. I finally decided to go, since Justin told me he thought I should. I mean, he's out there having the time of his life, so why shouldn't I go out and have fun with my friends? That's right. I should.
"So, where first? Express? Dillards? I saw some cute stuff at Dillards."
"Express." I throw away my coffee and we head to Express. No luck there. Four hours and twelve stores later, still nothing. We plop down on a bench and I sigh. "This is retarded. We're not going to find anything. Why don't we just wear something we already own?"
"Because then we don't get to get more stuff. And getting stuff is fun." She pulls her hair back into a ponytail and sips her soda. "Let's just order something online, kay?"
"But that'll take forever to get here! The party's in three days!" I throw my hands up and groan. "This is impossible."
A slow smile spreads across Hayden's face. "I have an idea."
