Please Don't Go. 7

Christian}

Oh my gosh. Is she crying? Why is she crying?
"Cass? What's wrong?" I sit next to her and put an arm around her shoulders.
"I! Love! Justin!" she says through sobs. "And! He! Doesn't! Love! Me! Back!"
I bite my lip, thinking about the tape. "Cassidy, Justin loves you. I know he does. But he won't say anything about it. He can't right now."
She looks up at me with shiny eyes and tears streaming down her cheeks. "Why?"
How can I tell her this? I can't. Justin has to tell her, its his problem. I can't tell her the truth. "I can't tell you."
Cassidy lets out a sob. "Just tell me, Christian! Just freaking tell me, dammit!" She stomps her foot a little bit.
"I'm sorry Cass! I can't tell you! It's not mine to tell!"
She stands up. "Then I'll ask him."
"He's not gonna tell you. He won't tell you till he's ready."
"Whatever. I'm out of here." She leaves the room.

The next day, I'm thinking about what Cassidy said, and I'm filled with anger. Caitlin's going to ruin Justin and Cassidy's realtionship, if there ever is one.
"Caitlin, give it to me."
My sister looks up at me innocently. "I don't know what you're talking about."
"Hell you don't know what I'm talking about."
"I'm serious, Christian, I don't know."
"The tape, Caitlin! The freaking tape!"
She smirks. "Sorry, little brother. That's private property. For now."
"Caitlin, I'm not joking around. You'll hurt people! You'll hurt Justin, Cassidy, there's no way I'll ever talk to you again! And mom and dad will be dissappointed in you! You're on that tape too!"
"I know I am."
"Why are you such a psycho?!"
"Oh Christian. Psycho is such a harsh word. I prefer... no, psycho pretty much covers it, actually."
And with that, she slams the door in my face.

"Dude. You gotta tell Cassidy about the thing with Caitlin."
Justin shakes his head. "No way, man."
"Justin, dude!"
"What do you want me to do, Christian?! She thinks it hasn't happened yet! She believes all the magazines and crap!"
"Tell her the truth!"
"I can't do that!" He looks angry. "I was fine today! I've been in a good mood all day, besides Caitlin's bitch-fit this morning! And you just ruined it! Thanks!"
"Whatever, dude. But if you don't tell Cassidy, I will."
He glares at me. "You wouldn't dare."
I nod. "I would. She needs to know. She deserves to. She'll find out, and if it's not from you or me, it'll be from Caitlin."
I walk out.
