Chapter 5: Alexis
Oh. My. God. I cannot BELIEVE that I have to tutor Justin Bieber. This is horrible. No way. I'm just not gonna show up. But then Miss Young will find out, and I'll be in trouble. Ugh, I really can't believe I have to do this. Ughhh. I need to talk to Alyssa NOW.
It's time for lunch, so I hurry. I make suere to stay away from empty hallways.
I reach the cafeteria and see that Alyssa is waiting for me. She gives me an annoyed look. "Where were you? I've been waiting forever!"
I roll my eyes. "Gee, sorry mom."
She puts her hands on her hips. "Don't talk back to me! I don't need your sass!"
I look at her, and she looks at me. We're both silent, and then we burst out laughing. Finally, we stop laughing. "But seriously," I say. "I'm having a crisis."
"What kind of crisis?" She raises an eyebrow.
"I have to tutor Justin Bieber."
We get in line for lunch. "Oh, that could be bad. What subject?"
"Chemistry."
"Well, crap. That really could be bad. What are you gonna do?"
I sigh. "What can I do? Miss Young's making me tutor him. He expects me to come over to his house tomorrow to 'study'."
"Wow, that's terrible. Being forced to spend hours with the hottest guy in school? However will you survive?"
I shove her playfully. "Shut up." We sit down with our lunch at our usual table. I glance across the cafeteria at Justin's table. He and his friends are kind leaning over the table like they're sharing secrets or something. He's smiling and talking, and then his friends laugh. Then he leans back in his chair and puts his hands behind his head. He shurgs, looking really full of himself. One of his friends says something, and then they do some kind of fancy handshake. Then another of his friends nudges him and points in my direction. Justin turns, sees me, and winks. Ugh.
"Did you see that?" I ask Alyssa.
"See what?"
"He just told his friends something, and then he winked at me! Like, ugh! Ya know?"
Alyssa looks at me funny. "No, I don't know. No one knows. Because that was not even close to a full sentence and it made no sense."
I roll my eyes again. "Whatever."
*AN: I'm skipping to after school the next day because school is boring =P*
I really don't want to go over to Justin's house. I just know he'll try something. Whatever. There's no use in worrying about it. I'll just go over and we'll study. I just gotta get it over with.
I go to my closet and pull out my drapy blue Mickey Mouse t-shirt. It's one of my favorites, and even though I hate Justin, I do wanna look nice. I change out of my plain blue tee and put on the Mickey Mouse shirt, then pull on a pair of light blue shorts. I glance at the clock. It's almost 4:00. I need to leave now. I slip on some light blue flip-flops and grab my schoolbag, then head downstairs.
Kate is sitting on the couch, watching t.v. "Hey Kate?" I ask. She turns to look at me. "Can I borrow the car?"
"Sure," she says. "I have a test to study for anyway."
"Thanks! I'll be back sometime."
"Kay." Kate doesn't seem to really care what I'm doing. She must be having a bad day.
I head out the door and get in the car. I put Justin's address into the GPS and follow the directions. About fifteen minutes later, I reach his house.
Wow, some place, I think. He has a really big house. I park the car and get out. I take my bag, walk to the front door, and ring the doorbell. About ten seconds later, Justin answers the door.
"Hey there, beautiful," he says.
He makes me wanna throw up. "Whatever," I say. "Are you gonna let me in?"
"Sure." He moves aside, and I walk inside.
"This is some place you got here," I say.
"Thanks," he replies. "My bedroom's even better."
Ugh. Pig. "Uhm, I'm sure it is. So should we start studying now?"
"Yeah, studying," he says, winking. "My mom's at work, so it's just us." Oh joy. "And the lightbulb in the living room is burnt out, so we'll have to study in my room."
"Of course we will. Ok, let's go."
We walk upstairs to Justin's room. He was right, it is nice. "You can sit there, on the bed."
I sit down, and he sits next to me. I open my chemistry book. "Ok, so, what is it that your having trouble with?"
"Uhhh, everything?"
I sigh. "Alright, well, why don't we start with - what are you doing?"
He takes the textbook out of my hands and throws it on the floor. "Studying is boring," he says. "Let's do something else." He starts leaning towards me.
No way. "Uh, I think we should get back to studying."
He chuckles, and pushes me down on the bed, then rolls over so that he's on top of me. "This is more fun, though." He starts to kiss my neck.
Uh-oh. This isn't going well. "Justin, stop. We can't -"
"Shhh," he says. "Just relax."
No. No no no no no no no no no. He needs to stop, now. "Justin, -"
He looks at me. "You're really bad at following directions, aren't you?"
"That's not true, I follwed directions to your house today, and I'm here, which means I'm good at following directions."
"Shut up," he says. His hands are moving up and down my legs. "Just let your mind go blank." He starts kissing my neck again, towards my jawline. He starts sucking on my neck, and my heart beats faster.
"Justin, please stop."
"You know you like it."
"No Justin, I don't like it. Stop, now."
"Why?" he asks. "We were just starting to have some fun." He grins sexily at me.
My heart beats faster and faster and faster. I don't like him, so why is he making me feel this way? I let out a shaky breath. "N-no. Stop. Now."
He still doesn't get up. What is he trying to do? Why is he so stubborn? "Come on, my mom's not gonna be home for a couple hours. Pweease?" He gives me a puppydog face.
No! No no no! "No! Get off of me! Now!" I push him off me and he falls beside me. I start to get up and he grabs my arm. "Let go of me!" I shout at him.
He lets go. "Alexis, are you okay?" He looks at me, seeming worried.
"No, I'm not okay! You're the one who said you needed to study and now you're trying to - I don't know what you're trying to do, but it sure isn't study! I didn't want to help you because I knew this would happen!" I'm screaming at him, and I probably shouldn't be, but I can't help it. I'm so mad at him, I can barely stand it.
He stands up. "I only said I needed a tutor because I wanted you to tutor me!" Now he's screaming at me. "Your right, I don't want to study! I wanna do so many things, and not one of them is study! But since you're so weird, that's not gonna happen!"
"Oh, I'm weird?! You're the weird one! Normal people don't drag random girls into hallways and try to hook up with them! Normal people don't say that they need a tutor and then not even make an effort to study! Normal people don't try and do what you just did when the other person doesn't want you to! I didn't do any of these things, so how am I weird?!"
"You're weird because any girl at our school would LOVE to be you right now! Every other girl would've let me do anything! They wouldn't have pushed me away!"
I cross my arms. "Well I'm not every other girl."
He scoffs. "Obviously."
I've had enough of this. I pick up my chemistry book and put it in my bag. "I'm going home."
He sighs, and moves to block my path. "Alexis, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have tried to do anything. Please stay. I'm sorry."
"Sorry, not working." I take in a shaky breath. I feel like I'm about to cry. "I don't believe you. Please get out of my way."
"Pleas believe me Alexis, please, I really am sorry, I just -"
I push him aside and walk out of his room. I walk downstairs towards the front door. "Goodbye, Justin."
He runs after me. "Alexis, please! I'm really sorry!"
I open the door and walk to my car. I'm not even listening anymore. I get in the car and drive away.
